Not really butterfly. When they look for somewhere to nest I have seen a video of what they can do. Peck a hole in the soffit if it is wood so they can nest in the cavity. Don't know about feeders, but if they are metal should not be a problem. Don't know about plastic tube feeders. Just need to be aware I would say.
