That is much appreciated - I head back to the rock on Tuesday but no chance of a side shimmy to Martin Down or AG so Portsdown Hill and a search for Small Blues will have to do tomorrow
Not to make you jealous, but I was half planning on Martin Down tomorrow, depending on the heat! Good luck with your small blues :)

Snappy, just seen on flickr a white admiral pic from Chicksands Wood, which I guess is over your way somewhere, Beds? Also, same chap got purple emperor and purple hairstreak, both open winged... might be worth a visit!

Jeezo that was hunners man. Now a know why av nae butterflies. Well done on the spotted flycatcher. Av seen one this year but no pic so doesn't count for me.
