Who knew Crossbills came down for a drink of water? Not me! They're usually denizens of the tree tops chomping on a fir cone. Lovely photos.
Thanks JS, they were kinda screaming at me to move out the way as I was standing close to the puddles, like a was meant to know they needed a drink
