I decided on that note to head back to the car, but en route I got a bit distracted.... A kestrel came pretty much directly overhead Then there was a bit more Stonechat and Raven and Rook activity which I shan't bore you with. Moments later the Kestrel came back

And then astonishingly, was joined by a second! There was a bit of shenanigans between them, before they drifted off into the distance

A couple of blue butterflies caught my eye, but with the breeze they stayed pretty low in the grass And then the Peregrine came cruising back north! Concluding a very pleasant, if breezy couple of hours!
