He was facing the cat but when he saw me in the kitchen he jumped round on the branch to face me (I think he was trying telepathy) so I obligingly waved a tea towel at the cat which made off in a leisurely fashion and straight away down came Mr. B. for his elevenses.
Everybody happy .......

Your training is coming along nicely Placi. Mr

will be very pleased with his work so far.

Astounded this morning - idly watching Mrs. B. collect nesting material and couldn't believe it when she flew into the ivy which is covering almost 2 panels of my rear fence. There is a Rosa canina right in front of where she entered so it's well hidden.
Have prayed for a nest since I moved in here and this is the first activity I've seen. I do hope she stays.

Wey hey Placi I hope all goes well
PS You'll need bigger romper suits than for Robins. Let me know how many and we'll organise a swap plus a little cash in my direction of course.

Have male and female that come into the garden regularly. Not sure if they are a pair. With probable nest in nearby wood if they are. Had fledgling in the garden the last couple of years.

What a lovely vision : Jacksparrow and a blackbird helping each other through the day with soundtrack which I recall with fondness.
The Goon Show followed.
