I have decided not to eat any of them as they look so splendid. Two of the three caps are now fully spread and I will let them take their course in the hope of a bigger crop next year.

If you want to buy shares get in early before the price rockets. Send cash (£5/share) direct to Shaggy Parasol Mushroom Comp. Ltd c/o Le Chateau Grande Cayman IslandsPlacido wrote:If you're thinking of starting up a little market garden business .......

Forget the pen your usual muddy thumbprint on a piece of paper will suffice. Just include that with your remittance and I'll do the rest. Any monies due will be sent to the wee glen as per usual. Stand by to get rich.Placido wrote:Anyone gotta pen ??

It is not unusual for my Dog Rose to produce a late flower or two but it is usually in September. This year's offering was a single flower which I spotted yesterday.
