Watched a Ray Mears prog tonight. He was in East Anglia and talking to a moth expert who said that he had only ever seen one death's head hawkmoth in his life and that, yes, they do squeak when you touch them :D.
I hadn't realised they were THAT rare :shrug:

You're absolutely spot on Placi :nod: I have a very good book on Moths and even then I have trouble sorting out the many species :rolleyes:
