Seen this one having a drink by the front door tonight.

Had a faint dulux on its back, so one of my regulars.

Caught in mid-snooze !! Might as well have a kip, the other one's eaten all the mealies.

Well now, 'ere's a thing ~ as per, I put out the first bowl of dried mealies last night (with a drop of water in because I like to hedge my bets ) and a bowl of water as per Willpar's comment.
Quelle surprise !!! Mealies gone this morning and even a fragment in the water bowl from which I deduce that hedgie had had a drink. I've never put water out before because I've just relied on the pond to provide the necessary liquid refreshment.
I know they use it because I find the crunched up shells of the water snails .

Very pleased - I can still feed 'em but now without the hassle of live mealworms :D .

Well done placi. I leave water by the front door and up in the garden. They do drink a lot of the stuff.

I marked a big hog last night.
Tonight there was a bloke and a laydee out there. Yes, I could tell :)
The bigger one didn't seem to have any tippex marks on it.
The bigger one had gone by the time I went out with my tippex, so I marked the female. She was at the feeding tray when I did. 10 minutes later, she's still there eating away :D

There seems to be at least two hedgehogs without markings caught on camera last night. Gardencam seems to be very busy the past few nights.

:D Collecting the hedgie from the wildlife hospital on Friday - they said to have some cat biscuits ready or they can give me some. It's a female :hedgehog:

Yes, Willpar - the one we found in the garden in November - I forgot to ask how much she weighs now. She weighed 282gms then :hedgehog:
