WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

[Jacksparrow]

Great video. Was the Kite stealing the bread and pickle from elsewhere?

It wouldn't surprise me! They eat just about anything and my neighbour over the road has fed them bread, pasta and even rice pudding.

Did he supply the spoon or do they bring their own?

The buzzards popped in for a bit of supper this evening.

A great video Basil.

[Jacksparrow]

Great video. Sad to say for me that if I tried putting pieces of chicken out for the BoP my reward would be every cat for miles around.

[Jacksparrow]

Sparrowhawks have become fairly rare visitors to my garden but today a very soggy(it has rained all day) looking male arrived in my Rowan tree not to try and grab a meal as per usual but to try and sort out his plumage. I didn't see any other birds for the remainder of the daylight.

Nice to see Jack, even if the do work better than a scarecrow

[Basil]

Lot's more videos of the buzzards, some are huge due to the format I record in. But here are this afternoon's visitors in 2K. I made a remote for my video camera, so I can now zoom remotely. High tech ehh? I hope you like them.

Great video of beautiful birds. I sense some frustration from having the chicken wings tethered.

Great footage.

Surprisingly enough even if the chicken isn't tethered the buzzards usually feed off the bird table, rather than fly off with it. I think in the above video one of the buzzards eats an un-tethered wing on the table.

The crows and ravens almost invariably immediately fly away with eggs or meat. My thanks to you Jacksparrow and Willpar for the kind words.
