The annual invasion of fledgling Starlings started yesterday and increased today. The background bird noise volume has increased and been upped to eleven.

Not seen any yet Jack, they are nesting in next doors gutter though....

Just through my casual observations and the noise level in garden I think the Starlings have had a good breeding season. :nod:

The Starlings are on their second clutch of eggs this year and feeling the heat.

We had a juvenile Starling in the lounge this afternoon :( The patio door was open to let some cool air in and it was soon flapping around in a panic. By some miracle I managed to catch it and offer freedom. Luckily no calling card was left. :shake:
