Thanks SM...its the best one of a very bad lot. Couldn't believe it was perched on a fence post like where I parked the car...only thing was I was half way doon the path

I have been very much preoccupied with the short eared owls as they are just sooooooo amazing so here is some more

That's a great set of owl photo's Linda, I think you have most shots covered
That's a great photo of the owl with it's prey. Nice to have got your red grouse and garden warbler as well.
