Same here - hard frost which only melted where the sun caught it. Had to bash the pond which scared off all the birds - a blackbird loudly made his feelings known !!

Hard white frost this morning. The ground was well frozen. Council was salting the road @ 14:15 this afternoon, so could be even colder tonight.

We're up near Sherwood Forest this week and I was surprised at how much lying snow there is around.
We shall be out for a walk tomorrow, so I hope it will still be nice.

I thought it had been snowing when I looked out this morning - the rooves, ground and vehicles were covered white but I soon realised that every car and van parked out there was white

It's thawing rapidly now - 34F ( 1.1C ) and sunny
