Saw my first butterfly of the year this afternoon. A Brimstone fluttered through. There are a few spring flowers for early insects but I didn't see it settle at all.

Walking the lanes this morning and seen a bit of fluttering. Got closer when it landed. Was a peacock, and did manage to get a few seconds of video, but had its wing closed. Car came by and it flew off.

The warm sunshine brought out a few butterflies in the garden today. A couple of Brimstones and a Small Tortoiseshell. :butterfly: :butterfly: :butterfly:

Out walking the lanes this morning, and spotted a rather tatty comma butterfly. The sunny warm weather is paying dividends.
