Got back from the shops to see a female blackbird eating some rowan berries. Great to see.

My rowan berries are almost gone. The blackbirds have had most of them. They have also been eating my grapes which is OK as it is partially the reason I grow them.

The ones I grow are about half the size of the shop bought ones. They manage them quite well as I never find any wasted ones.

I saw a pied wagtail this morning in my garden, first time ever! Really surprised and super happy and hopeful they spread the word about a nice eatery and visit again :D

Good spot butterfly. For some reason for the past two winters they have stopped coming in the carpark here, where I would feed them.

I'm happy for you Butterfly. I haven't had one in the garden for 10 years.

A clear sign colder weather has arrived I had a Chaffinch on the SF feeder today. I only get them in winter but their numbers have reduced in recent times.

I has a "family" of 6 LTTs on the fatball feeder this afternoon until they were bullied off by a Blackcap!
