I have a similar problem with the ivy on my external wall. It needs to be trimmed annually and I can usually do it in a day with my battery powered hedge trimmer. The resulting clippins fill up my green bin 3 times over so I bag them up and store them and the decant into the bin when there is room.

Finished the last leg this morning on the hedge. Filled up my bin which wont be emptied for another ten days. Have a bit of tweaking to do but should not produce much in the way of clippings.

My rowan in not looking too healthy. Drooping leaves, and the berries look to be shrivelling.

I was about to post something similar about my Rowan. There are very few berries left and the remainder have either fallen off or are about to.
I hope it is not a hard winter as there will be some very hungry birds. :(
