LADYBIRDS
Re: LADYBIRDS
They were out in force again this afternoon - could be just a coincidence but they seem to like crawling on or near the newly dried paint - as well as on the wall they were also crawling up the drainpipe.
Re: LADYBIRDS
Great to see . 'Spect the warm (morning only here) weather is still bringing them out.
Re: LADYBIRDS
I had 3 harlequin blackbirds yesterday on my bench. The must of there or a couple of hours. Is this normal for them.
Re: LADYBIRDS
I had another 5 in my garden today. We also had some mainly black ones. Are those still harlequin blackbirds?

Best to keep quiet about the Harlequin blackbirds or you won't be able to get out the house for twitchers.johnd83 wrote:I had another 5 in my garden today. We also had some mainly black ones. Are those still harlequin blackbirds?

The mainly black ones are harlequin ladybirds too, I think, johnd.
I don't think I've seen them resting in the same place for a couple of hours but they could have just been enjoying the warmth of the sun
