cold and rainy.

Talking of mowing the lawns - the men came yesterday morning and didn't mow the lawns (which need it), instead they trimmed back such shrubbery (mine !!) as required it. Actually, they made a good job of it: not too brutal and not too many berries chopped off.
The day previous whilst out I saw the Council doing the same to a road verge.

Today, chilly start - 44F and nippy but now the sun's out .

Some sunshine in the morning, then it blacked over and had a shower. Cloudy all afternoon with the odd shower.

Beautiful day yesterday - wall-to-wall sun for hours 'n' hours .
More cloud this morning, 45F but doesn't feel cold.

Shower after shower here today. Did have some sunny intervals but they never lasted long. Very windy.

Rain. 48F but at least the chilly breeze has dropped.

Lots and lots of sunshine today. Soft breeze and a balmy 58.

Another lovely day yesterday. 46F this morning and still damp.

Cloudy to start with, but by just after 9am the sun came out. Stayed like that until late afternoon, when it came over cloudy again. Nip in the air.
