I saw a few yesterday but have yet the hear the "scream" which they like to do.
They do not seem to be here in the same numbers as in recent years.

Today I had the opportunity to gaze skywards for a while and noticed a complete absence of Swifts. I take this to be a sign that they have left for warmer climes. See you next May fellas

Same down here Jacksparrow. Not seen a swift for a few days now.

Batten down the hatches, it could be a harsh winter. Have not seen any swallows since last Thursday. None last Saturday and none today. Skies seem empty. If indeed they have gone, then it is 3-4 weeks earlier than last year.

I saw some Swallows last Saturday. Perhaps they didn't get the memo.

Well whilst out on my walk this morning. I seen more swallows than I could count. Some were flying around feeding, but in the main most were flying over toward the coast. Great to see though, even if they may be leaving.
