The only unusual visitor during the entire episode was one mistle thrush, and that was on the other side of the road

!!

I would have happily traded a Fieldfare for a Mistle Thrush. I haven't seen one for ages

Lovely bird. They always look somewhat angry and fierce because of the dark marking around the eyes.
