I caught sight of my Hog last night for the first time in months although it has been a regular visitor most of the summer and autumn. There might even be two but I haven't seen them both at the same time.

Good grief. I don't wait up for them(it). Mrs JS thinks I'm barmy as it is.

Even so, I need my beauty sleep. More than most some might say.

Help needed, last night 12 midnight we had a visit from a hedgehog (seen on cctv ) there is food in the feeder but only mealworms, what is the best food now to get these beautiful creatures, tonight if it comes we are going to weigh it, now he/she may have gone into the hedgehog house I built for them so I will cover the entrance with a few leaves to see if they move them.

Hi J0hn. Mealworms are only really good for treats, hedgehogs need something more substantial. You could try kitten biscuits, they are smaller and not so hard. Failing that, any meat based wet cat food. But not fish. They will eat sunflower hearts and crunched up peanuts. But must say I have not had much luck with them.
