Two pied wagtails flying around here this morning. Never came in though.
You have had the pleasure of Waggies for a long time now so I'm sure you'll have them back for the winter. Just keep the mealies handy.
On the other hand I cannot remember the last time I had one in my garden. At one time they were regulars. :( They are still around as I see them in my town in the shopping area scuttling around the pavements looking for scraps.

I only ever see them around town centre and car parks, never had a pleasure of seeing one in my garden. Such cute little birds, would love to see them around my feeders

My first Pied Wagtail of the new Autumn/Winter season. It walked over to me in the car park. Nice that it remembered.

Have only the one pied wagtail coming into the car park now. There was two but the other was being bullied off the food, so has decided to stay away.

Have both pied wagtails now. The bully seems to have gotten into the festive spirit and lets the other one have some mealworms.

I bet that doesn't last long. Back to normal tomorrow.

Bully wagtail was at it again today, not all the time, so the other managed to have some food.

Just out feeding the pied wagtails, when all of a sudden they flew off. Then i could see why, a hawk flying overhead. Sparrows had dived into the hedge also.

Looks like the wagtails have headed off to the countryside. Hope they have a good breeding season.
