My Sparrows are eating epic amounts of seed from the hanging feeders at present. The last 20kg bag lasted barely three weeks

I am so happy to report that a bunch of sparrows, around 10 of them, found the way to my garden and are happy to hang around
I've never had sparrows in my garden before, apart from maybe a passing one or two, so this is a really nice development.
I love those little chatty birds

The usual influx of Starlings and their chicks has been and gone. Now it is the House Sparrows and their chicks. Never had so many before.

I think my local sparrows have now fledged their second brood as I seem to have high numbers visiting each day. Where I viewed last years breeding attempts as fairly poor this years is a success.

Last Friday I had a visit from the Sprawk and I think he snatched on of my sparrows
I have not seen a single sparrow since but one turned up at about 3.30pm
