Yesterday as I walked toward the front window there was a sudden flurry of small birds leaving the feeder and a flash of brown. The small birds about turned as did a female Sparrowhawk. Birds headed to the wood as the Sparrowhawk landed on the hedge. It looked around and then flew off heading for the wood. First time I have seen an attack take place.
