It has become very quiet in my garden. I am getting birds but it seems numbers have reduced again. for some reason the Golfinches are not coming like they have been :( . On the upside I did see a Chaffinch. :)

My numbers seem stable at the moment. Have never had a chaffinch in the garden though.

My garden has become a lot quieter in the last 5 days. I am still getting a few birds but less than I expect at this time of year. I'm thinking they have been frightened by a Sprawk but I am seeing more cats than I would like.

I think I have found out the problem. I looked out the back window this morning to see a Buzzard sitting on the fence between myself and next door. I also saw the little birds flying off with a lot of twittering. :(

Must say lately that the garden is having some very quiet moments. Don't seem to be any particular reason. Usually busy first thing then goes quiet after that.

What I didn't see today or any other day for some time now is a Collared Dove. Not so long ago there always seemed to be a least a pair hanging around waiting to get on the SFH feeder but I haven't seen one for months.
I have not read anything suggesting they were struggling but my own theory is that they've been hit hard by the bird flu. Perhaps it is just in my area.

Have never had one in my garden, although have seen them in the general area in the past.

I had noticed that they never appeared in any of your videos.

Must be your area, I have loads of them, at least 10 every day, lost the count :)

I suspected that was the case. After I said I hadn't seen one for ages I did see two on my neighbours fence that afternoon.
