I had 8 turn up today at breakfast time. I had to disturb them as two had decided that the hanging feeders were the place to be seen. They never returned. In the past they would fly off for a few minutes and then return and so it would go on until either they or myself became fed up with the game.

It seems that they are still spooked , must have been a really bad thing whatever happened to them .

Whatever spooked my ferals has gone from their memories. They were back at full strength today pillaging the hanging feeders as though nothing had happened.

Walter the one-legged pigeon was around today. He seems to have joined up with a small flock of 4 or 5 other ferals rather than attending alone.

About 20 ferals were with me at breakfast time this morning. If they could learn to behave they would be very welcome.
