Treated today to a swift glimpse of Rexie's 2nd brood No. 1 son. Not absolutely certain but I think his name is Rambo.
Rexie's dad, Robbo (are you following this ?), is still taking mealies back to the nest so the inevitable clash hasn't occurred yet :sofa: !!

I'm replying 'cos I don't wish to appear rude but I don't understand the question (and I suspect that I don't really want to).

It's just that all their first names and last name begin with the same letter :sheep:

Oh well, that's because of the legacy of RRR (one never ever really recovers, you know :( )

I have been out in the garden for a good period today and have been aware that most of the time I was being observed by a juvenile Robin. It hasn't acquired the RRR yet though it has all the usual Robin charm. I was amused to watch it hop onto the lily pads in my pond just to get a drink so it still has a little to learn. :)

Robin chick visits every day now. Even feeds from the bird table. Breast little less speckled so maybe the red is beginning to come through.

Since Friday, Rexie has begun to look quite scruffy. It began with displaced fevvers on his back but now his britches are all fluffy and unnecessary. Surely can't be beginning the moult already ??

I hope that is the explanation or it could mean he has taken on mites.
