Saw a robin at the ground table and flitting about up in the trees yesterday morning - it looked so sleek - more like an American robin. :feedbirds:

My robin likes to wear his big fat furry coat at the moment.
I did take some pics and shall go find the photo comp thread to post some in a bit.

Time 18.45 (6.45pm old money) Weather cold wet and windy :raining: :brolly: :windy: . Nearly dark. A little traffic noise from the from the road outside my house but otherwise quiet. Then without warning my Robin burst into song. :)
Lifts the spirits at the end of a thoroughly miserable day. :tampoline:

I agree. The other night when I saw the robin in my garden.I spent a moment and I could just watch and appreciate the song. Lovely bird.

Mine is very vocal at almost any time I nip outside. This is, I think, because he is answered by a close-ish string of cussing from Competitor No. 1 (thus far).
Wouldn't be surprised to hear another hopeful competitor any day now :clap:
