Went out with the food this morning and there were two goldfinches on the hedge. Either after the sheeps wool i have out or the sunflower chips. Or could be both.

I get Golfinches all all the time but I've never seen one gathering nesting materials.

They're not fussy. Anyone's food will do.

Got back from a walk this morning, and there was a jackdaw in the garden. And this evening, i noticed a pied wagtail following me down the path. Must have been one of my winter visitors. But alas i had no mealworms. But funnily enough i ordered some live ones this morning.

My garden has been extremely busy lately, starlings fledglings are everywhere and creating mayhem as they usually do, jackdaws are around too taking suet away clearly feeding their babies, a pair of GSW are also taking suet away all the time and I saw a couple of blue tits taking a nesting material that I put up. I haven't seen any bluey fledglings so I don't know if its a late starters maybe or what's happening

I think it is a little early for blue tit fledglings.
