Still early days. There is bound to be shortage so your des.res. may yet fulfil it's purpose.

Still no signs of any interest to use my nest box
, such a shame. I was really hoping that someone would use it, specially after a bluey showed an interest and inspected it. I guess they didn't like it

Don't write off this year too soon. You could try offering a cheaper rent.

My nestbox was up that long i forgotten all about it. And last year it was used by great tits. But must have been up for around 8 years. But having said that, is not in a great place under the porch roof.

Due to the size and position of my garden I'd say my bird box is not in an ideal location either. Its close to the front door and feeders in the garden ( sheltered by the stairs though) , but I've seen birds use much more busy places to nest. Maybe they just need more time
