My new bird box

Post by Butterfly » Mon Jan 18, 2021 12:21 am

I finally decided to buy a bird box, one with the camera, and I had it put up about a month ago. I saw my little blueys looking at it but they didn't go inside, until yesterday! :D

It was inside the box checking it out quickly, for only about 15-20 seconds, but I managed to record it. I hope the inspection went well and we see nest building for the upcoming breeding season :rara:

Well done Butterfly, picture quality is excellent. I'm sure it will be in regular use from spring onward giving hours of excitement.

Thank you peregrine :D , I hope so too, lets see. I just have to work out what's the best software to use for capturing and possibly streaming when the time comes. At the moment I'm trying OBS Studio but its driving me mad because it keeps losing the sound and I keep fixing it. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know :)

That is good butterfly. Hopefully you will have a nesting pair in the spring.

Me too Kev, I'm really hoping they decide to move in and make a nest, and keep me busy filming them
