Two more swallows this morning. This time over the playing fields. Just a stones throw from home, with a strong arm.

We usually have some returning Swallows/Martins in April in Dumfries & Galloway. So far nothing.

I have seen reports of Swifts being seen but I don't usually get them here until around the 10th of May.

Speak of the Devil and sure to appear. Just seen first Swallow of 2021. If they are here, House and Sand Martins will be around as well.

Swifts arrived yesterday- on time. The Swallows and Martins were very late.

I saw 6 Swifts this afternoon. I had heard the screaming during the morning but I couldn't see any.
