Sad news at Loch of the Lowes. Following a shortage of fish delivered to the nest, the youngest chick was attacked by an older chick and eventually died. This happened the first year I started following the Ospreys. I had named that chick 'Small Fry'.
Sad news. Nature at it's worst.

Haven't updated for a while. Chicks at Lock Arkaig and Loch of the Lowes have fledged. but are still using the nest. Don't know about Glaslyn, there have been problems with the camera.

Haven't been on the nest cams for a while. All chick have fledges and could be getting restless due to their pending first migration.

No sign of the chicks at Loch Arkaig.
Two chicks still on the nest at Loch of the Lowes.

Looks like the 2022 Osprey season is over. Adults and chick at both nests appear to have left on their migration.
