Re: Feral Pigeons
Walter the one legged pigeon turned up today in it's own. Mrs JS reckoned she'd heard a window strike shortly before we saw it but I not sure
Re: Feral Pigeons
Good ole Walter, hope it had its fill. Had a window strike several years back, was a wood pigeon. Must have died instantly.

Re: Feral Pigeons
2 feral visits today one bird each time. Walter came again and obviously finds the easy availability of food to his liking. I did see a small flock of about six ferals overhead but I don't think they stopped to eat.
Re: Feral Pigeons
Something must have scared them a lot to not even come for food, so unlike pigeons . Good to hear that Walter is around and doing well

Without a doubt One of the ones who have returned was pushing it's luck the other day by getting on a hanging feederButterfly wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 10:55 amHappy days! Re: Feral Pigeons
The number has increased to 5 visiting today. This included Walter. At the present rate I should be back to normal in around 10 days unless someone spooks them again.
