Good news, Walter returned to the garden today It is still trailing it's right leg but seems to be able to use it to balance while it is on the ground. While flying the leg hangs down rather than being tucked up under the tail like the good left leg.
I know pigeons can cope with only one functioning leg so I am not so concerned now it has lasted this long.

Walter is now a daily visitor. It is concentrating on eating the food dropped from the hanging feeders.

Great news, Walter the one-legged pigeon appeared to today. He looks to be coping well with his disability.
