All too rare a visitor nowadays. As you said the welcome from the resident BBs is seldom very warm so visits, by necessity are often very fleeting.

I might be wrong on this one but is was a small robin sized bird. Black and white with a long tale which moved up and down as it bobbed along. Possible wagtail?

I still have one nipping in and out for a bite to eat. Seems to like the mini muffins best. Even though I have out fat balls and blocks.

My first Blackcap sighting this winter was a male but now I am joined by a delightful female. I haven't seen the male for a few days. They are both attracted by SF hearts.
