Nice! Unfortunately there are none of them in my area, maybe Swallows, but I've hardly ever seen one

Seen a couple of swifts this morning whilst out walking. And low and behold, one near my house this afternoon. Don't usually see them here.

My local Swifts have now appeared. I saw three this afternoon.

Well that three months shot by. My local Swifts have departed for Africa for another 9 months

I think its been a poor summer I have seldom seen them this year

I think it has depended on which route your Swifts have taken to get here. Some routes saw big losses while others were about normal.
