Sea Eagles
Re: Sea Eagles
This is beyond infuriating! And sadly not surprising because those game keepers will and do kill anything that dares to breathe near the estates unless its pheasants. They are cruel beyond belief and the worst part is they always, always get away wit it!
Re: Sea Eagles
Birds of prey unfortunately will always be persecuted as long as the sentence don`t fit the crime.

Re: Sea Eagles
Unless a person is caught red-handed actually shooting the bird no prosecution is likely. Just because they are the prime suspect doesn't actually mean they're guilty. Frustrating I know but that is the law.
Re: Sea Eagles
Maybe not in this one, but they have been caught in few cases red handed, on camera, beating to death with a baseball bat a ghosthawk trapped in a cage, and other birds of pray and nothing happened to them, just a slap on the wrist and "don't do it again" . It's beyond cruel! The same people went ahead to do the same again and again nothing happened. So its not just the case of not being able to catch them but sending a clear message that if they are caught it will still be fine and not to worry. Absolutely outrageous. They are behaving like a proper mafia.Jacksparrow wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 9:25 pmUnless a person is caught red-handed actually shooting the bird no prosecution is likely. You are right Willpar, the sentence doesn't fit the crime and that's why this has been happening over and over.
