Two of my pyrawotsits burst into bloom today. The other one always lags behind.

You're a little behind the curve up there in the outer west mids. Mine has been in blossom for about a week now and is growing outwards like crazy.

Pyrowotsit has been looking good for about a week now. Training the little(?) fella over an arch and have the scars to prove it. Birds like it though, which makes it all worthwhile.

My Jasmine is out in full flower at present. The scent is so lovely that as I drive my car onto my drive in the front garden I can smell it from the back garden. I think I can even detect it in the kitchen with the back door shut!! The scent is so powerful, especially at night I think the whole neighbourhood can smell it!!!

Thanks greenfinch - I think that's it

- I didn't know what it was called
The slab is one I put an empty ground table on to help catch the debris from the sunflower heart feeder above, which has a seed catcher/base tray attached to it too. Despite this the mess is slowly building up again, around it.
This fungi has literally appeared overnight

Nuthatch's reference to 'squishy cherries' in the Blackbirds topic remins me that I have not eaten one single cherry from my tree this year. It is totally bereft of cherries.
I blame the woodies

Yep, them along with Sturks and Blackbirds. They all love them and not too fussy about them being fully ripe.
