Re: WHAT'S GROWING IN YOUR GARDEN ??
On the BBC early evening news there was a story about the mild weather messing with the calendars of flowers and wildlife in general. Today I spotted 4 new flowers on my dog rose. It usually flowers in June and occasionally will have a few late blooms in September but the last days of October are completely new territory.

Quick question. This year for the first time I planted bedding geraniums. Will they over-winter outside or do they need to be potted and taken in? Any advice will be helpful.

I'm sorry peregrine I have no idea. Have you tried googling for an answer as there is usually someone who has asked the same question and has got a reply.

I don't think they over winter very good outside. Unless they are a hardy variety.

I noticed today that my primroses have started to flower. Good luck to them as it's forecast to get cold again next week.

Noticed up the lane this morning daffodils in the hedge around a foot high. No buds though.
