I seem to have my first visitor to our front garden bug/butterfly house that I have on the fence. Some type of spider.

A squatter I reckon

Waiting to eat any bugs/butterflies etc who come in seek of shelter. A neat move really as all that web spinning is horribly time consuming

We are now officially in autumn even though the weather thinks it is high summer. The spiders have started appearing indoors as they do every year at this time presumably looking for a cosy billet for the winter. How do they know?
