Signed. Its wrong to make it a crime for vets and rescue services , or people for that matter, to help any animal.

I don't know what's wrong with Natural England but they seem to be doing many wrong things when it comes to nature and wildlife.
I came across this:

https://raptorpersecutionscotland.wordp ... this-year/

This is absolutely appalling! They gave an approval to take hen harrier's nestlings, rear them in captivity and than release them back in wild? And all that so few can enjoy their blood "sport"? Are they out of their mind?! Every expert will say NOT to take a nestling from their parents, even if you think they are abandoned until you are absolutely sure, because no one can ever teach them the skills they need to survive apart from their parents! And all of a sudden Natural England just ignores that and decide that's a perfectly ok thing to do? Instead of catching and prosecuting the criminals that illegally kill them they decided to prosecute them by taking their babies from them? How cruel is that!?
This is so wrong on so many levels! I'm so angry about this!

I think that has only recently come into force. Our spy in a rescue centre told us recently the Nature England had sent all concerned a letter regarding the update.
