Great to see Willpar. Of course it is sub-tropical down in Devon(nearly Cornwall) compared to us folk in the midlands so they're not so quick to go into hibernation. :butterfly:

Quite a frost first thing. But when I went out over the farmers fields was quite warm. Believe it or not, I picked up a caterpillar when I went out at 9pm with the garden cam. Was quite a dark green on about an inch long. Brushing the succulents which have gone really wild.

My first Butterfly of the year today alive and on the wing. A Small Tortoiseshell :butterfly: Struggling gamely to cope with a very gusty cool wind :windy:
