I had a new arrival in the pond today. A brand new Damselfly emerged. I think it is a Common Blue but until it matures I can't be certain. The keen eyed will spot the Nymph shell to the left of the new insect.

. The male and female Banded Demoiselle are very different and could be mistaken for two different species.
