Oh nooo I'm deeply shocked and saddened. Stainless steel is the way to go though
(A few months ago I admitted defeat and bought a stainless steel cafetiere after having bought 94 replacement glass beakers for the 49 outer frames we have however it's not the same somehow - not so sparkly and interesting to look at - you can't have everything, can you )

Absolutely spot on - stainless steel has no soul. Aaaaand another thing - since the advent of stainless steel knives 50 years ago you can't get a razor-sharp edge that lasts on a kitchen knife. I sorely miss that .
Only good thing about these new bowls is that they have a rubber ring around the base so they don't move around whilst / is eating. Next morning they're not a yard away from where I put them the night before . This modern technology can be quite cunning at times .......
