Great news JS mine were late this year. Instead of late January, it was almost mid February. But doing good so far. Couple of nights ago counted three in the garden, when i went out with food.

Just been out with the hedgehog food. On the larger plot a hedgehog was behind me when I put the food down on the lawn. Went over to the smaller plot and there were five of them there. Six all at once, that is the most I have ever had at once in the garden.

Word is spreading willpar. Times are hard a free food is hard to find.

Thank you JS, and have wondered if our garden wildlife are taking a hit just like us. Money can only go so far.

I'm fairly sure I get one most nights. I put some food out and it is gone in the morning.

Looks like the hedgehogs have thinned out some. Just around two, but what can be expected this time of the year.

Just been out with the food, two hedgehogs up in the garden, and a this years juvenile on the lower path. First one that I have seen so far this year.

I know I have a hog visit most nights but I only ever see it occasionally. Last night was one of those times. I had gone into the garden to leave some food for the hogs and there it was near where I leave it. It went dead still but did not curl into a ball. By the time I had completed my mission it has shuffled off elsewhere. :) :hedgehog:
