Almost all of the food was eaten last night but I'm a little suspicious that a cat has been having a go at it too.

Having a small amount left over, but that is ok, as it says they are getting enough.

Some very sad news. The youngster of my visiting hogs fell into my nature pond last night and drowned. Unfortunately it fell in at the other end from the escape ramp and couldn't reach it.

Very sadly another young hog has drowned in my other pond this time. I'm not sure how it managed to get in as that pond is surrounded by a low fence designed to keep the cats away when I had fish. Also there is vegetation at the pond edge which I would have thought would make it easy to get out. I have had the two ponds for 25 years and previous to this week there has only been one other drowning of a hog. I am vey upset.

That is a bitter blow Js. They are good climbers, but failing that there may be a dip under the fence that the vegetation is covering up.

I don't think my hog has visited for the last three nights. Is it sleep time?
