We get a hog in early summer, then he'll disappear. I rarely see him, just some indicators of a fullsome diet around the lawn, lol!!
Yeah, they're very much free agents. Most of us on this forum feed them and get regular visits but there are no guarantees.

Yes they are aren't they? I rarely feed them, but there was a hedgehog rescue up the road until last year, so I'm sure people will be putting food out for them and looking out for them now she's gone. I don't know what they find to eat in my garden, but there's something!

They love a nice slug and any other creepy crawlies they come across.

Oh there's no shortage of slugs here - they're mad slugs mind, but I never kill them.

My most frequent hog visiting it coming at the same time each evening. It doesn't bother waiting for darkness to fall and is usually scoffing by 21.50. The lighter evenings mean less dark night time so an early start is OK as long as you know it is safe. :hedgehog: :moon:

Two Hogs last evening. :hedgehog: :hedgehog: Much huffing and puffing until one of them decided to look elsewhere for supper.

Good to hear JS. Not getting so many visits here at the moment, but can go like that this time of year.
