Succulents.

Post by Willpar » Tue Nov 25, 2014 10:27 am

Here is a video of how the succulents are taking over in my garden at the moment. Small clip of pyracantha at the end.

:D Oh I love those, Willpar - never seen so many/much of it together - magnificent :rara:

Expect the pyracantha would be taking over too if you didn't need to keep cutting it back to get by :)

A lovely garden  I always like seeing bits of it :D

Hi Nuthatch, I have another pyracantha the other side of the window. That one has yellowy/orange berries. Grows even faster than the red one. Am trying to get that one into shape as well. Woodmouse is in the succulents somewhere by the steps. Not seen it much this year though. Pretty cat proof though. Must admit I am quite liking the bit of wild aspect to it all. Just when it rains and I brush by can get rather wet.

Oh as a side not, I noted on the other side of the estate here, I seen a succulent type plant that had flowers like a small hebe. It is flowering now. Will have to take a closer look and whip off a couple of cuttings. That's how I got the others.

Very impressive succulents, Willpar. I'm guessing it wouldn't grow right up north. I think it's one of the Sedums ??
