Re: WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

If it was dark coloured it may have been a Polecat or a Mink.

Maybe the sunshine brought it out ??
You're probably right as they are very active on warm sunny days :spring:

Re: WHAT'S GROWING IN YOUR GARDEN ??

You're a little behind the curve up there in the outer west mids. Mine has been in blossom for about a week now and is growing outwards like crazy.

DAMSELFLIES

I was stood squinting into my wildlife pond this afternoon when an Azure Damselfly arrived from out of nowhere. It always surprises me when they turn up as I don't live anywhere near a big body of standing water which they would like although the river is not far away.

BEES

It is this time of the year when the rowan is in bloom that my garden is subjected to a very low humming. this is from the multitude of Bumble Bees that are smothering it at present. They are mostly Tree BBs with a few White Tails to keep them company.

BIRD FEEDING

I'm currently getting through about one kilo of bird seed from the hanging feeders. Added to this is a slightly lesser amount of Sunflower hearts.
