A good one to have JS. Don't see them here very often. The peacock was a bit on the tatty side though.

All is well in the ponds. Good going JS.

Seen my first butterfly of the year while walking the lanes this morning. A peacock.

Sometimes they can be quite fearless.

Not had a jackdaw in a while now. Down the woods there are loads of sticks on the ground from the rooks.

Very good news, good to see them back.

No bluebells flowering here yet.

Walked around the lanes today, still no sightings.

Not by me, but a swallow was spotted at a place called Folly Gate, That is Okehampton in Devon. Sighting was posted with a pic, on the 15th March. Seen this on Devon birds website. Birdwatchers record their sightings on the website. Good place to go to see what is around.
